George Fox University is a Christian university of the humanities, sciences and professional studies founded in 1891 by Quaker pioneers. We offer bachelor’s degrees in more than 40 majors, degree-completion programs for working adults, five seminary degrees, and 11 master’s and doctoral degrees. We are consistently ranked as one of the top Christian universities on the West Coast. George Fox University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.

In keeping with our mission of Christian higher education, all employees – faculty, administration and staff – are committed Christians. More than 3,300 students attend classes on the university’s residential campus in Newberg, at its Portland, Salem, and Boise centers, and at other teaching sites in Oregon.
