Alex and his wife, Denise, serve as volunteer representatives for World Association for Children & Parents (WACAP), one of the largest and most experienced international nonprofit adoption and child assistance agencies in the United States. They find that many families are open to adoption but may not know how to begin the process, or they may have initial fears or questions that can be addressed if they had the opportunity to talk to a family that has been through the adoption process. Because of Alex and Denise's own journey of adoption, they take joy in sharing their story with others for the sake of the children that remain without the blessing of a family.

Explanation for Involvement:
Alex and Denise are volunteers for WACAP because of their desire to see children in need of a family find a Christian home that will show them the love of Jesus Christ.
