Nature of Work:
Daniel is involved in providing training to professional and paraprofessional mental health persons in various countries on the topics of child counseling, play therapy, parent training, and trauma interventions. This has included speaking at conferences, providing in-service workshop training, and teaching graduate courses.

Explanation for Involvement:
Unfortunately, the mental health needs of children are not a high priority in many countries. There is scant attention paid to children's emotional and psychological needs, with this low priority reflected in the Christian counseling world as well. It continues to be a personal mission to help make this world a little safer for hurting children and families, both inside and outside of the church.
