Nature of Work:
As a volunteer director, Ron serves as a liaison among four Regional Directors from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and North America. An international consolation is held annually in Africa, Asia, or Latin America.

Explanation for Involvement:
Ron is attracted to the strategic role top Friends leaders play in each region and feels it is fruitful to contribute what he can to training and international cooperation by region. New educational institutions have been founded. Africans have exchanged ministry among Africans. Latin American pastors have shared internationally, and Asians have begun entering missionary ministry from one nation to another. As a professor of missions and international ministry, this has allowed Ron to keep in touch with current missionary issues and remain especially aware of the burgeoning role of evangelical non-Western missions and churches.
