About the Presenters

Bruce Bracken, PhD, has published more than 120 articles,
reviews, book chapters, tests, books, curricula, training CDs, and
videos. He coauthored the Universal Nonverbal Intelligence Test and
recently published four new tests, including the Clinical Assess-
ment of Attention Deficit. Bracken cofounded and has coedited the
Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment for more than 20 years and
currently sits on the editorial boards of eight national and interna-
tional professional journals. Bracken is a co-principal investigator
of more than $6 million in external funding through the Depart-
ment of Education, Jacob Javits grants. He is a Fellow of the APA
in the Divisions of School Psychology (Div 16) and Child and
Adolescent Psychology (Div 53). Dr. Bracken is currently a pro-
fessor at The College of William and Mary. 

Larry Weiss, PhD, oversees clinical research and development
for The Psychological Corporation, now a Pearson company. He
advises on test development activities for the PsychCorp’s seven
international business units and oversees international adaptations
of PsychCorp assessments in dozens of countries. He has
coauthored WISC-III Cross Cultural Analyses: Culture and Children’s
Intelligence (2003), WISC-IV Clinical Use and Interpretation (2005),
and WISC-IV Advanced Clinical Interpretation (2006). He received
a doctorate in industrial/organizational psychology from Texas
A&M University in 1990.
