About Bolivian Evangelical University

Bolivia Evangelical UniversityUniversidad Evangelica Boliviana (Bolivian Evangelical University), located in Santa Cruz, was founded in 1980 as the first private university in Bolivia and the first evangelical university in Spanish-speaking South America. Its board of directors includes representatives of many of the denominations and mission groups in Bolivia. It is an affiliate member of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) and is fully accredited by the Bolivian government. It has about 2,000 students in a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs.

Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz is Bolivia's second largest city. With a population of about 1 million, Santa Cruz is the largest business center in the country. It also contains a growing number of public and private universities. Located near rain forests, the climate is warm and tropical. To the northeast, there is the lush terrain of river and jungle areas.
