History:
The Fox Film Festival has been entertaining the campus of George Fox University with an array of excellence student films. The official beginning of the Film Festival was in the spring of 1998 with the premiere of a short film “Hopeless Romantics” by Seth Himes.

"We weren't expecting many people to attend just friends and family of the crew, but to our amazement we packed the theater with people sitting on the steps and the floor," - Himes.

Once the fifteen-minute film finished, there was a standing ovation marking the start of the annual Fox Film Festival.

"There was nothing genius about "Hopeless Romantics" but it brought the campus together for one night," - Himes.
