The English Language Institute is a program within the Department of Communication Arts at George Fox University.

While enrolled in the English Language Institute, students may take up to 4 hours of regular credit-bearing courses, such as physical education or music courses.

Students may receive elective academic credit toward a bachelor's degree at George Fox University for up to 15 hours of advanced course work in English as a second language.

Students who complete the advanced level satisfactorily may enroll as regular students of George Fox University.
