Visual Arts

If you're interested in art, George Fox University is your place: we offer instruction in painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, digital art, and many other media, in classes taught by distinguished faculty.

Artists can select a major in art or graphic design, as well as an art minor.

Art students at GFU also have opportunities to work with distinguished guest artists from the Northwest and around the country.

George Fox University also is home to two art galleries, the Roger and Mildred Minthorne Gallery and the Donald H. Lindgren Gallery, which host several shows each year.

For more information on art at GFU or to find out about scholarship opportunities, contact Mark Terry, chair of Visual Arts, at mterry@georgefox.edu.

Prospective students can get info about our art major on our undergraduate admissions site.
