Cynthia McGladrey holds a Master of Music in vocal performance from the University of Oregon and a bachelor’s degree in choral education from Portland State University. She became a licensed Andover Educator in 2005. Cynthia is an active clinician, sharing body mapping for musicians with choirs, solo vocalists and handbell ringers throughout the Northwest.
She is an instructor of studio voice, assistant choral director, director of Handbell Ringers, and teaches Body Mapping for Musicians at George Fox. Cynthia maintains a private vocal studio teaching music educators and adult students. She served as coordinator of music ministries and director of children’s music at Salem First United Methodist Church from 1996 to 2007. Cynthia enjoys sharing song recital and concert repertoire at George Fox and with local community choirs.
