Carol Green is the dean of George Fox University's School of Professional Studies and Associate Professor of History. Previously she was dean of Wayland Baptist University-Clovis Campus in New Mexico, a position she held since 1997.

Chimborazo: The Confederacy's Largest Hospital

Green also served as an associate professor of history at WBU. In 2005, she published a book on medicine in the Civil War titled Chimborazo: The Confederacy's Largest Hospital, with the University of Tennessee Press. The book has been nominated for the national Jefferson Davis award, an annual award given by the Museum of the Confederacy for the best historical work on the Civil War. She earned her BA in history from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and an MA and PhD in history from Texas Tech University.
