Accreditation Status
The nursing major at George Fox University has been granted full accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), which is one of the more than 50 educational accrediting agencies that serve the public interest by providing an unbiased assessment of the quality of professional education programs. CCNE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to accredit baccalaureate and graduate degree programs in nursing. As a specialized/professional accrediting agency, CCNE is designed to evaluate and make judgments about the quality of baccalaureate and graduate degree programs in nursing that are located in regionally accredited colleges and universities in the United States and its territories. A determination of accreditation by CCNE is an indication of confidence in the educational institution to offer a program of quality, deserving of public approbation.
The nursing major has also been granted full accreditation from the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
