Devorah Overbay arrived at George Fox in August of 2006. Since 2000, she has worked at Oregon Health & Science University as a critical care clinical nurse specialist (2000 to 2002) and as a transplant nurse coordinator (2002 to 2006). Before that, Overbay held nursing positions at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Ind., and Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn. She has held clinical faculty positions at Indiana University of South Bend School of Nursing (1998) and Oregon Health & Science University School of Nursing (2000-2003).

Overbay holds a bachelor of science in nursing degree from University of Washington School of Nursing.
