Clint Baldwin joins the faculty at George Fox this 2006-2007 academic year. He comes to Fox having taught at Asbury Theological Seminary, Asbury College, and the University of Kentucky. He received a BA in psychology from Asbury College, an MA in intercultural studies from Asbury Theological Seminary, an MA in political science from Western Michigan University and is currently a PhD candidate in international/intercultural communication at University of Kentucky's College of Communication and Information Studies.

Baldwin's interests lie broadly at the confluence of the socio-religio-political with specific concern for persons and populations largely marginalized from corridors of power, wealth, and prestige. His dissertation work, largely through the lenses of communication and continental philosophy, considers ramifications of the (r)evolving nature of law for the category of Crimes Against Humanity. Baldwin is published in the World Press Encyclopedia: A Survey of Press Systems Worldwide (2002) with a number of pieces on the Middle East as well as other countries. He is currently writing a chapter, "Reflections on Edward Said's Work: Liberation and the Human," for inclusion in Emancipation and Representation: On the Intellectual Meditations of Edward Said (Forthcoming, University of California Press).

Clint teaches the following courses:
