Politics Student Reading Groups
Sometimes, the best learning occurs outside of the classroom. Politics faculty are committed to providing a variety of opportunities for students who want to read and discuss current events, great books, or life in general. Over the past few years we have hosted groups that explored Alexis de Tocqueville’s Democracy in America, Friederich Hayek’s The Road to Serfdom, and Bill Kaufman’s biography of the Anti-Federalist Luther Martin. In 2013-2014, Mark David Hall and Michael MacLeod will co-lead discussions on the weekly magazine The Economist. If you are interested in participating, please send a note to Mark at firstname.lastname@example.org.
