Research by Christopher Koch

Research Interests: I am primarily interested in the interaction between attention and cognitive and perceptual processes. Recent research has focused on developing a culture-free non-semantic version of the Stroop task as well as examining individual differences in Stroop processing. Individual differences examined include personality, intelligence, working memory, and emotion. I am especially interested in the time course of attentional processing and the development of attention and perceptual abilities. Secondary interests include measuring functional vision in school-aged children and perceived ability as it relates to sport and academic achievement.
