Distinctives of the George Fox University Social Work Program
Program Motto: "Scholarship and Service."
Degree Offered: Bachelor of Social Work (BSW); the program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education Council on Social Work Education.
Internships: Students complete supervised internships in area agencies. We also offer international internships in Spain and South Africa field practicum
Employment: Upon graduation a variety of positions are available working with diverse populations professional goals. Our BSW graduates have been successful at securing employment after graduation. For questions about the social work program, please e-mail socswk@georgefox.edu.
Graduate School: Graduates wishing to further thier education by earing a Masters in Social Work (MSW) can seek schools offering advanced standing which means a masters may be completed in 11-12 months.
