Melanie Hulbert, assistant professor of sociology (BA, Western Washington University; MA, Women's Studies Studies, University at Albany, State University of New York; PhD, University at Albany). Melanie specializes in sociology of work and gender issues and family. She also has interest in race/ethnicity themes. Melanie received the Paul Meadow's Teaching Award from the University at Albany and an award of excellance from the WorldatWork Journal for her research on gender roles in the work place. She joined the faculty at GFU in August 2003.

Instructors
- Terry Steele, PhD - Terry has taught for GFU for 10 years. He was awarded a PhD in Intercultual Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
- Jeffrey Tatum, J.D. - Jeff comes to us from Calvin College where he was an assistant professor of sociology. He is also ABD for a PhD in sociology from University of Virginia and earned a law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.
