Associate Professor of Theatre
Bryan is a theatre professor and the resident scenic and lighting designer at George Fox University. He teaches courses in theatre design, acting, theatre management, and the integration of faith and theatre. In addition to over 40 designs at George Fox, Bryan has designed for Artists Repertory Theatre, Seattle Music Theatre, Northwest Children's Theatre, Western Washington University Summer Theatre, and the University of Portland. Bryan has received several design awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and in 2006 the Kennedy Center named him one of its 35 Celebrated Teaching Artists. In the summer, Bryan runs the Theatre Design Institute, a series of graduate courses for high school theatre teachers. More information can be found at theatredesigninstitute.org.
