Adjunct Professor of Art
What do you do at Fox?
In my classes, I prepare Seniors in the Art Department to get jobs in their field of Design. I also will be teaching a design class for non-designers.
When did you start working at Fox?
A BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC)
What is something you’d like to do in the future?
I would like to teach more -- classes focused on graphic design and branding -- which is my expertise.
What is something you’re grateful for, appreciate, encouraged by, or excited about?
I love seeing students turn the corner, that moment they really catch on to design and get it. You see immense improvement very quickly when this happens. I had that moment almost 20 years ago and it changed my career. So I get excited when I see it happen for our design students.
What kind of art do you do?
Read. When I don't have to design or teach design. I like to let someone else's art take me over. But the art I do is graphic design.
