What do you do at Fox?
I teach all levels of ceramics.

When did you start working at Fox?
Fall of 2007.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Architecture, Washington State University, 1970

What is something you’d like to do in the future?
I’d like to travel more.

What is something you’re grateful for, appreciate, encouraged by, or excited about?
The teaching experience and its rewards; what the student gives back through their exploration of clay.

Personal notes:
I love bicycling, but I have for nearly 20 years included an hour long pre-dawn walk through inner Southeast Portland as part of my daily routine. It is often a time when you are exposed to a part of urban life that is seldom seen.

What kind of art do you do?
I make vessels - thrown and altered; limited production and one-of-a-kind pieces.
