What do you do at Fox?
I teach 2-dimensional art courses at Fox as well as direct exhibitions in Lindgren Gallery, plus whatever they tell me to do (within reason).
How long have you been at Fox?
Officially over 10 years.
Education/Experience:
MFA in Painting from the University of Arizona, teaching experience at Judson Baptist College, the University of Arizona, University of Oregon, Oregon State University, and Portland Community College. (I got my battle training as a substitute teacher in the public schools.) I was a practicing professional artist for 4 years and continue to paint and exhibit.
What is something you’d like to do in the future?
Move to the Southwest and hang out in the desert!
What is something you’re grateful for, appreciate, encouraged by, or excited about?
I’m grateful for my family, friends and a great place to work. I’m excited about the future and seeing the beauty of the new heaven and earth – should be some great subject matter there!
Personal notes:
A long-term goal is to be a sunbird.

Landscape-oriented painting in watercolor and oil.
