George Fox University firmly believes that international and cross-cultural study programs can be an important part of a student's education. One of the most effective means of fostering global awareness is to spend time in another country and culture. Whether a student spends a semester attending one of our available overseas programs or participates in our three-week Juniors Abroad program in May, they will have an increased understanding of our diverse world.

George Fox University students may participate in one of several semester-long overseas experiences. The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) student programs include the Australian Studies Program, the China Study Program, the Middle East Studies Program, the Russian Studies Program, the The Scholars' Semester in Oxford, and the Uganda Studies Program. Spanish majors are required to spend a semester abroad at one of our affiliated sites: the Semester in Spain Program in Spain, the Universidad Veritas in Costa Rica, the Centro de Legua y Comunicacion Social in Costa Rica, or the Centro de Lengua y Comunicacion Social in Cuernavaca, Mexico. French minors are required to participate in the the Semester in France Program.
