Our Campus

Our residential campus in the historic town of Newberg, Oregon, is the place you'll call home. Newberg is a friendly town of 18,000, situated among century-old farms, between the snowcapped Cascade Mountains and the rugged beaches of the Pacific Coast. Metropolitan Portland, Oregon's largest city, offers cultural activities, international dining, and shopping a short drive away. Our campus is safe, and the community is inclusive and accepting. You'll fit right in.

The climate of the Willamette River Valley is seldom extreme. Mild average temperatures (3 degrees Celsius) and gentle rains keep the nearby vineyards, farms, and woodlands green and lush in winter; summers here are dry and pleasant, with some hot weather (average 28 degrees Celsius). Students fly into Portland International Airport, and George Fox University personnel are available to give you a ride to Newberg.

On campus, if you are under the age of 23, you may choose from a variety of living environments: residence halls, two-room suites, apartments, and even a few shared houses. Dining facilities provide food service all day. You'll live near the library, classrooms, and chapel, within walking distance of the center of Newberg. Our campus is designed to meet all your needs: to explore, to reflect, to learn, to play -- to grow.
