Application Instructions

Interested students who are not U.S. citizens are encouraged to apply early, preferably by February 1 for the fall semester (final deadline June 1) or September 1 for the spring semester(final deadline December 1). You may either request a George Fox University application from our Office of Admission; access information about applying online; or use the Common Application. When you apply, you will automatically be considered for the George Fox University International Student Scholars program, which awards academic scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $40,000 over a four-year enrollment. Need-based financial aid is not available to non-U.S. citizens or non-U.S. permanent residents.

With the application, we require the following: original or certified copies of all academic records; an official TOEFL or APIEL score report or, if English has been the language of instruction, an SAT or ACT report; and a George Fox University Declaration of Finances form (click here to download) or certified bank statement to demonstrate adequate funds. Immunizations must be current and documented prior to arrival.

George Fox awards credit to students who earn 4 or 5 on Advanced Placement exams and 5, 6, or 7 on higher-level International Baccalaureate exams. The University may credit British GCE Advanced Level exams, based on the field and score.
