3. Meet new interests
From athletics to art, student government to social service, George Fox offers you ways to express your special interests and commitments. As an example, each year students, faculty and staff participate in Serve Day, a community service project, reaching out to the Portland metro area.
Students find other service opportunities through ministries to senior citizens, and national and international “serve trips.” To support old and introduce new interests, the university sponsors clubs in the areas of art, business, international affairs, missions and ministry, music, sociology/social work, theatre, and more.
In athletics, our university is a member of NCAA Division III, providing an opportunity for you to compete in your choice of several sports – eight for women and seven for men.
