Melva Lloyd
Melva is a proud graduate of George Fox's degree-completion program. She crossed the stage to receive her diploma with grandchildren cheering in the bleachers. In 2005, she completed her master's degree at Portland State University in adult, postsecondary and continuing education. Somehow, the subject seemed fitting.
Because her husband is retired, Melva chooses to enjoy her mornings at home and make herself available to students and faculty in the evening hours. You will often see her in the halls at the Portland Center before class and during breaks, talking with students and/or addressing needs that arise. If she doesn't know the answer to your question, she will find it.
In her spare time, Melva likes to read, play with words (games and crossword puzzles), and garden. She and her husband also enjoy hiking and biking.
