Management and Organizational Leadership Degree - Online

January 2014 MOL-Online Cohort
A new cohort of Management and Organizational Leadership in the online format will begin January, 2014, with students completing the 16 month cohort in May 2015. All course material is completed online, with one required face-to-face weekend at the beginning of the cohort.
Designed for busy adults
Designed to help adults complete a degree online successfully, the Management and Organizational Leadership online degree program features the same 13 courses we teach in our classroom format. Cohorts start each January for the spring semester and each May for the summer semester.
January 2014 Application Deadline: November 1, 2013
- Take online courses from the comfort of your own home or any other location with an Internet connection
- Meet your professors and classmates at the beginning of the cohort during our "face-to-face" weekend at our center in Portland, Oregon (begins on Friday morning and ends on Saturday afternoon)
- Avoid hassle. All course materials are provided for you and included in tuition (no unexpected extra costs!)
- Complete your degree in as few as 16 months
Goals of the MOL online degree program
Students will learn to:
- Articulate principles of organizational dynamics relating to systems, culture and environment
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and an understanding of organizational communication processes
- Compare and contrast leadership theories, models and styles
- Develop insight into personal leadership style
- Identify the dynamics of globalization and the implication for organizational strategy and operations
- Develop a working knowledge of decision-making, finance, and interpersonal and group dynamics
- Develop the analytical and research skills necessary to identify organizational problems and to formulate solutions for those problems
- Demonstrate an understanding of ethics and Christian values and their applications for organizations
