Alumni Board of Directors Structure

Alumni Board Structure and Information

The George Fox University Alumni Association includes all graduates (baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate) and former students who attended George Fox full time for at least one year. Its Board of Directors consists of the following representatives:

  • 2 from the 2000s (traditional undergraduate programs)
  • 3 from the 1990s (traditional undergraduate programs)
  • 2 from the 1980s (traditional undergraduate programs)
  • 2 from the 1970s (traditional undergraduate programs)
  • 2 from the 1960s (traditional undergraduate programs)
  • 2 from the Pre-1960s (traditional undergraduate programs)
  • 2 from Department of Professional Studies programs
  • 2 from George Fox Evangelical Seminary (previously Western Evangelical Seminary)
  • 1 from the Doctor of Psychology program
  • 1 from the Master of Education program
  • 1 from the Master of Arts in Teaching program
  • 1 from the Master of Business Administration program
  • 1 from Master of Arts in Counseling
  • 1 from Student Alumni Council
  • current senior class president

Board members are elected to three-year terms. They may serve no more than two consecutive terms but may be reelected after a one-year absence from the board.

Nomination is open to any regular member of the Alumni Association and may be made by any association member. If you are interested in serving on the Alumni Board please use this form to apply. All applications will be considered annually as position vacancies occur. Refer to the Board of Directors page to see when terms expire and therefore when there will be openings.
