Via Spiritus Retreat

Leadership and Spiritual Formation, Doctor of Ministry 3rd year students and graduates, mark your calendars!

George Fox Seminary and the Doctor of Ministry program invite you to join other LSF dissertation students and graduates for a Retreat with Dr. Dan Brunner October! 

Retreat Details

  • Date: Friday, October 19 6:00pm–9:00pm Saturday, October 20, 2012
  • Location: Beach Front Dining Room, 288 S. Hemlock St., Cannon Beach, OR
  • Topic: "Greening Our Spirituality"

As a way to give back to our LSF DMin graduates and third year students, who have already invested so much into the program, George Fox Evangelical Seminary is underwriting the retreat with a grant that will cover roughly half of the total cost.

  • Fee: $100 per person or $175 per couple (spouses are welcome!!!)
  • Deadline: October 5, 2012

This includes:

  • The Retreat with Dr. Dan Brunner
  • Four meals: Dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday.

7:30–9:00 p.m. Session 4 - "An Earthy Spirituality: Discovering New Practices"

Lodging

Alumni/3rd year students are responsible for all travel and lodging costs and preparations. We suggest accommodations at Hallmark Inn, but participants are welcome to stay in any of the many local accommodations.

Purpose

We intend to begin an on-going tradition of offering an annual Via Spiritus Retreat to LSF DMin graduates and 3rd year students. Our objectives for the retreats are to…

  • pursue further reflection, education, and renewal on topics relating to deepening spiritual and moral authenticity with God, self, and others, in ways that facilitate sustainable, healthy ministry
  • reconnect with students from your cohort
  • forge new relationships with like-minded LSF DMin graduates and 3rd year students from other cohorts
