A Day Without Tuition
By Robby Larson, Director of Alumni Relations

Last week, Alumni Relations and Bruin Heritage Society (our student alumni association) sponsored Tuition Freedom Day. This brand new event was designed to educate students about the importance of philanthropic giving to George Fox University. The message was simple: Tuition does not cover the full cost of their education. Whether realized or not, every student at George Fox is helped by those who give to the university. More…

From the Alumni Board
By Debbie Fletcher
Debbie FletcherIt has been a joy to serve on the Alumni Board for the last four years. I was a student at George Fox “College” way back in the 1970s when there were fewer than 10,000 people in Newberg and only one traffic light. George Fox Women’s Basketball earns a spot in conference title game
After surviving a brilliant first half of three-point shooting by the University of Puget Sound and their own struggles at the free throw line, the George Fox University Bruins edged the Loggers 62-56 Thursday night at the Wheeler Sports Center’s Miller Gym to reach the finals of the Northwest Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament. The title game is set for Saturday in Portland, Ore., at 7:00 p.m, where the Bruins will play against top-seeded Lewis and Clark College. The winner earns a spot in the national tournament, while the other must await a possible at-large bid.  Click here to read the full story.
