The university
continues in the top tier of the “Best
Universities – Master’s” west
region category. Sixty-three colleges and
universities are selected in the top group comprising
the first and second tiers.

Undergraduate Enrollment Sets George Fox
Record
The second-largest
freshman class in George Fox University history
helped the university this fall set a record for
traditional undergraduate enrollment. The
university’ traditional undergraduate
population grew to 1,633, up three percent from last
year.

Selah
2006 The third annual Selah
women’s conference will be held at George Fox
University on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Lori Salierno, CEO of Celebrate Life International,
will be speaking on Steps of Courage: Following Jesus
Into the World. Selah is worshipful, refreshing,
challenging, and spiritually recharging. Students,

Dedication Ceremonies for Hoover Renovation and Le
Shana Hall
Alumni are invited to attend an open house
celebration of the expansion and renovation of the
Herbert C. Hoover Academic Building at 4 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, in the Hoover Building
Atrium and an open house and dedication of the new
Dave and Becky Le Shana Residence Hall at 3 p.m.

"You Say You Want a Revolution
Conference" Co-sponsored by
George Fox Evangelical Seminary, the conference will
take place Nov. 3-4, in Seattle. Speakers include
Brian McLaren, “one of Americas 25 most
influential Evangelicals” according to
Time Magazine; George Barna, author of
Revolution, Jim Henderson, author of
a.k.a. Lost – discovering ways to connect
with the people Jesus misses most and Mary Kate
Morse, Associate Professor of Pastoral Studies and
Spiritual Formation at George Fox Evangelical
