Making Adjustments after Mid-Term

Mid-term grades can provide a wake-up call for students who aren't doing well in one or more courses. This session will provide ideas for addressing some common reasons for poor performance and some alternatives that students have for salvaging the semester.
Writing a Research Paper

Often students see research as merely an aggregation of facts, an anthology of quotes. This workshop aims for students to understand their research as the development of a dynamic idea, communicated in a clear thesis statement that lays the course of the project.
