Mark Sundquist (Seattle Pacific '89) is 30-75 (.286) to date in his 5th season as a college head coach, all at George Fox. He coached the boys' programs at Woodburn (Ore.) * Schmick, Gayman HM for NWC "Player of the Week" in Last Two Weeks

Aaron Schmickled the Bruins to a 2-1 week and was named to the All-Tournament Team in the Concordia Holiday Tournament in Portland, earning Honorable Mention for Northwest Conference "Player of the Week" for Nov. 29-Dec. 5. In a 56-54 win at Cascade on Tuesday, he scored a game-high 18 points on 8-13 from the field (2-4 on 3's), with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. In a 65-62 win over Northwest Christian on Friday in the tournament's first game, he had 25 points on 9-15 from the field (2-7 on 3's) and 5-7 from the line, with career highs of 11 rebounds for his first double-double and 5 steals, and also had 3 assists and 1 blocked shot. In a 69-64 setback to host Concordia on Saturday, he scored 12 points on 5-12 from the field (0-3 on 3's) and 2-2 at the line, with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal. For the week, in 3 games, he scored 55 points (18.3 ppg), hitting 22-40 (.550) from the field (4-14, .286 on 3's) and 7-9 (.778) from the line, with 21 rebounds (7.0 rpg), 9 assists (3.0 apg), 1 block, and 6 steals (2.0).

Mark Gayman made the All-Tournament Team as the Bruins went 1-1 in the Surf's Up Invitational in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Nov. 26-27, earning Honorable Mention for NWC "Player of the Week" for Nov. 22-28. In a 91-78 loss to California Lutheran on Friday, he scored 10 points on 4-9 from the field and 2-3 from the line, with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. In a 95-83 win over California-Santa Cruz on Saturday, he scored a career-high 32 points, hitting 15-22 from the field and 2-2 from the line, with 10 rebounds and 2 assists. It was his 16th career double-double in points and rebounds. For the week, in 2 games, he scored 42 points (21.0) on 19-31 (.613) from the field and 4-5 (.800) from the line, with 16 rebounds (8.0), 4 assists, and 2 steals. Gayman received "Player of the Week" honors once last year while earning First Team All-Conference status.

Mark Gayman, who entered this season with 1,007 career points, has scored 98 in the Bruins' first six games of the season, boosting his total to 1,105. His streak of men's basketball home games worked is 406, last missing a home game on Dec. 15, 1972, vs. Willamette, when he was in advanced training with the Army at Ft. Jackson in Columbia, S.C. Now in his 34th season of keeping Bruin statistics, Biggs has seen 957 George Fox men's basketball games in his lifetime.
