Schmick also tied the record for most free throws made in one game, matching the 16 (in 19 attempts) by Kenny Stone vs. the College of Idaho (now Albertson College) on an. 28, 1987. Schmick's 16-16 is the third-best perfect night in Division III this year; Gian Paul Gonzales of Montclair State University has a 22-22 game vs. Rowan University and an 18-18 game vs. New Jersey City College.
