COMING UP: Season Over, Bruins Look Ahead to 2007-08

Aiming for their 3rd straight winning season, the Bruins instead dropped under .500 for the first time this season and ended up at 12-13 after a pair of home-court losses to Pacific Lutheran and Northwest Conference co-champion Lewis & Clark. The Bruins finished 5th in the NWC at 7-9. Nevertheless, the team posted some impressive victories this season, including wins over Holy Names (ranked 9th in the NAIA at the time) and Puget Sound (ranked 13th in the NCAA Division III) by out-scoring the high-powered Loggers 34-5 over the final 12 minutes. The Bruins lose two players to graduation in post Chris Parker and wing Phil Heu-Weller, but will return starting point guard Brent Satern and forwards Brady Strutz and Taylor Martin in 2007-08 in an effort to return to the plus side of the ledger.
