10/21 - Bruin Cage Coaches Welcome a New Member to the Family

NEWBERG, Ore. - George Fox University women's basketball head coach Scott Rueck and his wife, Kerry (Aillaud) Rueck, who is one of the Bruins' assistant coaches, welcomed their first child into the family early Tuesday morning - son Cole Michael Rueck.

The newest member of the George Fox athletic family was born at 12:36 a.m., weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 21 inches tall. Father Scott reports that his son is fine and his wife is tired! All are resting comfortably in the Newberg Providence Hospital next to the university campus.

The Bruins began practicing for the 2003-04 season on Oct. 15, and assistants Mike Warmanen, Erica Ewart, and Kyle Stump will handle the team for a couple of days until the head coach/new father returns.
