COACH SCOTT RUECK:

Scott Rueck (Oregon State '91) is 188-76 (.712) to date in his 11th season as a college head coach, all at George Fox. He was named Northwest Conference Coach of the Year for the third time in 2004-05 after leading the Bruins to the NWC title and the "Elite 8" of the NCAA National Tournament. Taylor BAA Athlete of the Week, HM for NWC Honors

Senior wing Robin Taylor has been named Bruin Athletic Association Women's Athlete of the Week, and also received honorable mention for Northwest Conference Women's Player of the Week for Dec. 4-10 after earning All-Tournament honors in the Wells Fargo Invitational in Lewiston, Idaho. In a 72-55 loss to NAIA Division I #27 Montana State-Northern, she had 10 points on 3-9 from the field (2-4 on threes) and 2-2 from the line, with 7 rebounds and an assist. In a 67-59 loss to NAIA D-I #8 and tournament host Lewis-Clark State, she had 21 points on 6-13 from the field (2-6 on threes) and 7-9 from the line, with 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. For the week, she scored 31 points (15.5 ppg) on 9-22 (.409) field goals, including 4-10 (.400) on threes, and 9-11 (.818) free throws, with 15 rebounds (7.5 rpg), 5 assists, and 3 steals. She currently ranks 1st in the NWC in free throw pct. (.879), 3rd in 3-pt field goals (1.57, T), 6th in scoring (13.1), 9th in rebounding (6.4), and 11th in 3-pt field goal pct. (.314) ...
