* Bruins Secure Fifth NWC Title in Last NineYears

By finishing with a 14-2 record in Northwest Conference play, the Bruins earned a share of the conference title with Puget Sound, their fifth NWC crown in the last nine years. In 1999-2000, the Bruins were 14-2 in league play and shared the title with Pacific Lutheran. In 2000-01, they were 15-1 and won their first outright championship. The Bruins stood by themselves again in 2004-05, going 14-2. Last year, they shared first place with Puget Sound, both teams at 13-3.
