2/14 - SOUTHERN OREGON 7, GEORGE FOX 2: Bruins Suffer First Setback of Season to Southern Oregon

BEAVERTON, Ore. - In a neutral-site match here at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center, the George Fox University Bruins sustained their first loss of the 2003 women's tennis season, falling 7-2 to the Southern Oregon University Raiders Friday evening (Feb. 14).

Southern Oregon captured all three doubles matches and four of the singles matches to take the victory. George Fox got winning games from Heidi Stagge at #4 singles and Laura Rogers at #6.

The Bruins saw their record evened at 1-1. Next action for the team is Saturday (Feb. 15) vs. Pacific University in Newberg at 10:00 a.m.
