BRUINS KNOCK OFF LOGGERS IN TIME-SHORTENED MATCH Apr. 3, 2009 Courtney Banks and Betsy Ann Penman teamed up for a win at No. 2 doubles, then captured singles wins at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively, leading the Bruins to a 5-2 win over the Puget Sound Loggers Friday at Tualatin Hills in Beaverton, Ore. Two singles matches went unfinished due to time constraints at the public facility. The Bruins conclude the regular season at home vs. Willamette Saturday at 11 a.m. Complete story. |
