Chris is an assistant professor of management and the coordinator of community consulting projects. He became an adjunct faculty member at George Fox in 2005 and was hired half time in 2008. Chris currently serves in the Boise Center’s MBA program and teaches at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. He has served as a consultant and a leadership coach on a limited basis to a wide range of nonprofit organizations and individuals and companies in the private sector. He has more than 20 years of professional experience as an educator, entrepreneur, pastor, motivational speaker, author, musician and life coach.

Chris is the president of LeadershipAlive.com®, a nonprofit organization focused on developing emerging 21st century servant-leaders, teams and organizations. He also serves as founder, lead pastor, and cultural architect of GraceChapel.com, an innovative, Christ-centered, multicultural church located in Boise, Idaho, where he has served for more than 15 years. He is an ordained minister with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. As a motivational speaker, Chris’s most popular talks include subjects on leadership and personal and spiritual growth.

Chris is a musician, songwriter and record producer. He has released three original worship albums: Tell the People, Packin' Up My Sorrows and Stronger Than Life. A fourth worship album is currently being recorded. He and his wife, Mary, have written and published more than 50 original worship songs with WorshipAlive.com, 45 of which are listed with CCLI and/or Word Music®. Chris and Mary have been married for 25 years and have three children – Luke, Megan, and Allison – and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Rachel.
