Mary has more than 20 years of experience in higher education administration and teaching. She became an adjunct faculty member at George Fox in 1996 and was hired full time in 1999. Mary became the director of the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MAOL) program in 2000 and served in that capacity before becoming the Graduate Business Program Coordinator in 2007, when she directed both the MAOL and MBA programs.
Mary served as the acting director of the School of Professional Studies for the university's Boise Center during the 2006-2007 academic year. She currently directs the Boise Center’s MBA program and teaches at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Previous to joining the George Fox faculty, she had been affiliated with Pacific Lutheran University, Oregon Institute of Technology, Boise State University and the University of Idaho’s Boise Center. In addition to her professional activities, Mary is an avid runner. She ran her first marathon in 1984 and since then has enjoyed traveling to different parts of the country to participate in running events.
When asked to describe her faith, Mary said, "My greatest desire is to serve God. My ongoing prayer is that I will serve as His vessel so that He may shine through me, such that others would see me and see Jesus." Mary lives in Boise with her husband, David, and her two sons, Daniel and Benjamin.
