Mark is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 25 years experience in public accounting that includes 10 years with Coopers & Lybrand (now PWC) and 16 years ownership of a local public accounting firm. Mark also spent four years as the chief financial officer of a large grain exporting company prior to joining George Fox University in 1993.

Mark previously taught accounting and taxation classes on an adjunct basis with Portland Community College and Portland State University. His wife Carolyn is a legal assistant and his children, Stephanie and Christopher, are both graduates of George Fox University. Mark is actively involved with St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Beaverton, Ore., and is strongly committed to George Fox University’s mission of providing quality education with a Christ-centered focus.
