All Workshop Participants are eligible to participate as a Master Class Conductor for the workshop. Twenty volunteer master class conductors are selected on a first-come/first-served basis from those registered and fully paid participants who request a position by submitting the online Workshop Volunteer Master Class Conductor Request Form.
During the Workshop, each conductor selects a piece from the Workshop Music Packet and rehearses it throughout the workshop in a Master Class format with Dr. Eichenberger providing guidance, demonstration and feedback.
Each conducting exercise is video recorded and the recording is available for viewing the same day. At the Friday Concert, all Workshop Master Class Conductors will conduct their selected piece for the Friday performance. Each volunteer Master Class conductor will receive a DVD of their recorded sessions during the Workshop, as well as a DVD of the Friday performance (the DVD of the Friday performance is delivered 6-8 weeks after the Workshop).
To apply for one of the twenty Master Class conductor positions at each Workshop, follow these steps:
- Submit the Registration Fee in full.
- Submit a Workshop Master Class Conductor application using the form below.
- If chosen to be a volunteer Master Class conductor, you will be notified via email.
