Whether or not you are a Friends student, you can benefit from the instruction offered in the university’s Quaker studies minor.
As a student in the 19-credit-hour program, you’ll study the history and doctrine of Friends, spiritual formation, Quaker philosophy and Christianity in history. In addition, you have the option of taking courses that cover the biblical basis for peacemaking, war and conscience in the United States and conflict resolution.
Finally, to round out the minor, a variety of courses in religion – covering the philosophy, psychology and sociology of religion – are available.
