Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. It's amazing. You should probably stop what you're doing and go borrow a copy. Now.

What is your favorite sport?

Soccer ... Seriously, I'll lend you the book. As long as I get it back. Just read it.

What is your favorite kind of nut?

Almond. OK, I'll stop about the book. It's good though. The best.

If you could drive any vehicle what would it be?

I'd bring back my first car: White 1979 El Camino.

What is your favorite childhood nickname?

Hammer (as in M.C.)

What is your favorite thing about George Fox University?

The emphasis on inclusion. I was a math major with a theatre minor, and I picked up that theatre minor AFTER I was in two main stage shows. Opportunities exist on campus for people with passion, not just for those in the right major.

Why are you an admissions counselor at George Fox University?

I'm a storyteller, and the best stories that I have from this most recent chapter of my life all exist because of my time at George Fox. If today I get one new person excited about my alma mater by sharing the amazing qualities of the school that brought me to the place I exist right now, then today is a great day.
