Where are you from?

Klamath Falls in Southern Oregon.

What is your favorite hobby?

I love to explore new things. I like to know about stuff that other people may not be aware of. Sometimes that's great restaurants in the wonderful city of Portland. Sometimes it's up and coming bands or artists. I like the finding and collecting things that are fresh and original.

What is your favorite book?

So many to choose! Can I compromise and pick one fiction and one non-fiction? My favorite fiction novel is To Kill a
Mockingbird
. (Might be my favorite movie too). My favorite non-fiction is Reading Lolita in Tehran.

What is your favorite sport?

Love to go to baseball games live. Like to watch figure skating on T.V.

What is your favorite kind of nut?

Cashews —really, really salty ones.

If you could drive any vehicle what would it be?

I would love to buy an Acura Convertible. Preferably a white one.

What is your favorite childhood nickname?

My mom called me LuLu Belle.

What is your favorite thing about George Fox University?

I love the intentionality of so many people at George Fox. No one is required to take an interest in you personally, but it is a natural part of the culture here. People care about other people and they don't mind making that known. Professors, staff, and other students — everyone seems to understand that relationships are the true heart of this place.

Why are you an admissions counselor at George Fox University?

George Fox University truly changed my life. I guess that sounds like an over-exaggeration, but it's true! I was exposed to so many new and challenging things while I was a student a Fox, and because of that I grew in every way imaginable. The timid and unsure 18-year-old that I came here being isn't the same person I left as. I love that I get to help students start their own journey on a path I'm so grateful I got to walk.
