What is your favorite hobby?

Playing piano

What is your favorite book?

That's a difficult one. Never ask a writing and literature major to narrow their favorite book down to one title. I'm a big F. Scott Fitzgerald fan so The Great Gatsby is up there. I also love To Kill a Mockingbird, The Scarlet Letter, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and of course the Narnia series. I'm also a big fan of The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer and Red Moon Rising by Pete Greig.

What is your favorite sport?

Soccer or Futbol. It's the world's sport.

What is your favorite kind of nut?

I'm pretty partial to macadamia nuts.

If you could drive any vehicle what would it be?

A Volvo of some kind. They drive like a dream.

What is your favorite childhood nickname?

Mouse. I don't know why. It doesn't describe me at all. I'm anything but quiet.

What is your favorite thing about George Fox University?

The fact that this is a Jesus place. Students, staff, and faculty alike are hungry to know more about Jesus and desire to live their lives they way that he calls them to.

Why are you an admissions counselor at George Fox University?

This is a place that gave a lot to me as a student and a place I believe in. In being an admissions counselor, I've found a very meaningful way to give back to the university God used to change my life.
