Helpful transfer information
- All liberal arts courses taken at an accredited college or university will transfer to George Fox University; vocational courses generally do not transfer
- Official transcripts are required for credit to be transferred. Unofficial transcripts will not be accepted.
- A maximum of 96 quarter or 64 semester hours will be accepted from community colleges.
- Only course work with a grade of "C-" or better will be accepted.
- Courses must be 100-level or higher.
- 100/200 level courses will not be accepted for 300/400 level courses.
- One quarter credit = 2/3 semester credit

Financial aid
If you are interested in attending, George Fox is committed to making it possible. Our generous financial aid program provides 97 percent of our students with some combination of scholarships, loans and student employment. We rank among the top third in our national university category for serving lower-income students.
Academic scholarships
George Fox offers a generous academic scholarship program that rewards students who have demonstrated strong academic performance. National Merit semifinalists and finalists, National Hispanic Scholars, and National Achievement Scholars automatically receive a $15,000 scholarship from George Fox University.
Highly competitive national scholarships also are available for outstanding students in all fields, particularly those considering graduate studies.
